[Video clicks on to show off Ironhide, sitting out under the stars, an arm draped loosely around Egg the Lairon.]

... Heard a lot about people disappearing, recently. Someone told me they go back home again.

[He pauses, and looks up.]

Not everybody's in a position where they can avoid what's waiting for them back there.

Some people have to go home.

... But I guess I kinda hope that not everybody has to.

And not all of us wish to do any avoiding.

[Ironhide is a big fan of facing what you don't like... and punching it. Hard. It's always worked for him.]

... If you wish to stay, then we need to make certain we know how others are sent home. Then, we can stop it. For you.

[That's... actually the very first time anyone has ever addressed both options like that... most people Heather's discussed this with have either been all about everyone getting to go home... or, like her, somewhat reluctantly admitting that they didn't WANT to leave.]

[No one's ever actually said that finding out what this was all about could involve helping some people to stay before.]}

... Awhile ago, people were convinced that the local criminal gang were the ones behind us being brought here.

They might be a good place to start.

Who are they?

A group called Team Rocket.

... They took over the Radio Tower in Goldenrod awhile back... but everything seemed normal afterwards so the police blew it off some kinda power failure and a bunch of employees making wild claims.

Nothing's really come out about it since, but...

[Ironhide gets that look on his face. It's sort of like the look he got before blowing up that fat pile of lard in Heather's dream.]

... And how far is Goldenrod from Violet?

_{[She grins a sort of apologetic grin at that. Her answer's the same as before.]}

Quite awhile... unless you have someone to meet you halfway and get you through the shortcut.

I'd offer, but I'm kind of... really far away.

Hmnf. Just have to keep it in mind then... once I get there.

Still in Olivine City. Beach town up north.

You stayed there?

Yeah. I like the beach.

Not much to like about sand and salt water.

Well, I've never been made of metal.

I'm probably a little less biased.

Yeah, you try rusting, and then see how you feel about salt water.

If I ever become a robot or a car, I'll put that on my to-do list.
